學生於當日先前往生產力促進局參觀，了解3D打印技術的應用及各樣模具製造機器的運用，並親身試用電腦軟件，為生產力促進局創作的卡通角色設計新造型。

下午，學生到了荃灣一家模具製作工廠近距離參觀其先進設備，而香港第一位CAD/CAM工程師譚榮耀先生，亦分享了他在製造科技業奮鬥的成功故事。最後，主辦單位贈送了以3D打印技術製作的模型予學校留念。

We visited the HKPC in the morning, to know more about the application and details about 3D-printing and the manufacturing machines. We also tried to design a new outlook for the HKPC’s mascots with the CAD/CAM designing software.

In the Afternoon, we visited an advanced manufacturing factory in Tsuen Wan. The first CAD/CAM engineer Mr WT Tam share his story in the field of manufacturing technology.
