The mission of Ronald McDonald House is to provide a ‘home away from home’ – accommodation for families with hospitalized children. It aims to keep families united together during their stressful times. Through this seminar, students not only understand the mission of the Ronald McDonald House, but are also encouraged to participate more actively in related social services in the coming year.

麥當勞叔叔之家的使命是為患病兒童及其家人提供一個「臨時家園」，減低家長因兒童患病所造成的生活壓力。通過是次講座，學生不但認識麥當勞叔叔之家的使命，而且鼓勵學生來年更加積極參與相關的社會服務。
