2022-07-22Notes for S.1 Registration 中一註冊須知

All pre-S.1 students and parents/guardians must come to the school to complete the S.1 Registration procedures on the S.1 Registration Day. The registration period starts from 28 July (Thur) to 29 July (Fri), 2021 (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; 2:00p.m. - 4:00 p.m.). Please read the following document for detailed information. Please contact us at 2711 7159 for enquiries.

Please note that except for exempted persons, all visitors have to present their vaccination record and use the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile application to scan the venue QR code before they are allowed to enter the school.

 

所有中一新生及家長/監護人需於中一註冊日,前往本校完成中一註冊手續。註冊日為2022年7月28日(星期四)至7月29日(星期五),時間為上午9:00至下午12:30及下午2:00至4:00。詳情可參閱以下文件,如有任何問題,請致電2711 7159與本校校務處聯絡。

2022-07-15Application for S.1 Admission (Reserve) 中一入學(候補)申請

The application date for S.1 Admission (Reserve) 2022-2023 is July 26, 2022 (9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). The Application Form can be downloaded from the school website or obtained from the school during office hours (Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon). Please call our General Office at 2711 7159 for enquiries.

2022-07-09五十周年校慶校友重聚日

本校訂於二零二二年七月十六日下午五時三十分至七時十五分假本校禮堂舉行五十周年校慶校友重聚讓舊老師、各位校友及現在的校長、老師及同工相聚一刻,共敘情誼,同頌主恩。屆時將會有丘中歷史重溫、紀念品售賣、幸運大抽獎、師生細說當年校園生活點滴及大合照等精彩環節,盼望校友撥冗蒞臨,同賀金禧校慶。

HTYC 50th Anniversary Souvenirs

 

In order to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we have designed a range of souvenirs with the theme of “Flourish in His Grace”. All the profits (after deducting the cost) will be used on the school development. You may refer to the attached documents for the price and the sample of the souvenirs. For making an order, you may click the link below and fill in the google form by 31st August, 2022. The payment will be fully refunded if the souvenirs are sold out.

2022-07-02五十周年校慶晚宴取消通知

各位校友台鑒:

 

原訂於一月十四日舉行的五十周年校慶晚宴至今已延期將近半年時間,由於現在政府只容許舉辦不超過一百二十人的宴會,另外教育局近日發指引提醒學校,除下口罩活動會構成更大病毒傳播風險,著學校不應安排非必要的聚餐活動;亦提醒教職員要避免出席聚餐活動,以減低受感染的風險。故此,本校最後決定取消是次晚宴,對晚宴最終未能舉行,本校實感惋惜,感謝閣下對母校的厚愛。

 

為了讓各報名的校友仍可聚首一堂,同頌主恩,與師長及同學一起慶祝五十周年校慶,本校訂於七月十六日下午五時三十分至七時十五分假本校禮堂舉行五十周年校慶校友重聚日以取代五十周年校慶晚宴。屆時將會有丘中歷史重溫、紀念品售賣、幸運大抽獎、師生細說當年校園生活點滴及大合照等精彩環節,盼望所有已報名校友撥冗蒞臨,同賀金禧校慶。

 

至於各校友已付的款項,扣除是次活動的佈置、抽獎及紀念品費用後,校方已全數付款給酒樓。經協商後,酒樓會以現金券的形式退還給學校,每位已付款的校友,將獲得由會所一号博藝會(時代生活集團)發出價值港幣$500的餐飲現金券(有效期至二零二二年九月二十八日)。現金券將於七月十六日重聚活動當天派發。如校友當天未能出席,可於八月二十日或之前於學校辦公時間內到校務處領取或利用附上的授權書請他人代為領取,在此日期後未領取的校友則作放棄論,現金券將贈予母校。

 

每枱的聯絡人將會收到另一封電郵以報名參加是次重聚活動,截止日期為七月八日,請校友們透過聯絡人回覆。各校友如欲向會所一号博藝會訂座,可致電2766 9703。

2022-03-29New arrangements on the S1 Interview 中一面試最新安排

The online interview for S1 Discretionary Places 2022-2023 will be held on April 8, 2022 (Friday) and April 9, 2022 (Saturday). All applicants will be granted an interview. An email regarding detailed information on the interview will be sent to one of the applicant's parents by March 31. Parents need to contact us at 2711 7159 as soon as possible if you do not receive our email on April 1.


2022-2023年度中一自行分配學位的面試,將於  2022 年 4 月 8日(星期五)和2022 年 4月 9日(星期六)以網上形式進行,所有申請者均有面試機會。本校將於3月31日或之前發出有關面試詳情的電郵給其中一位申請者家長,如家長於4月1日還未收到電郵,請盡快致電2711 7159聯絡本校校務處職員。

2022-03-04New arrangements on S1 Discretionary Place 中一自行分配學位最新安排

本校按教育局就中一自行分配學位的最新安排,將原定於3月12日(星期六)舉行的中一面試,延期至四月初以網上形式進行。但由於疫情發展仍然是未知之數,本校會於三月尾再通知家長中一面試的最新安排,請家長密切留意本校網頁或電郵。

其他中一自行分配學位最新安排:

  1. 本校會於 2022年 5月4日以書面及電話通知正取學生,通知申請人已獲本校接納為自行分配學位正取學生,備取及落選學生將不會收到任何通知。
  2. 取錄結果將於 2022 年 7月 26 日公布,與其他經統一派位的學生一併透過就讀小學公布。

Based on the new arrangements on S1 Discretionary Place from the EDB, the S1 interview, which was originally scheduled on March 12 (Sat), will be re-scheduled to early April by online mode. However the development of the COVID-19 is still unknown, we will post the latest arrangement at the end of March on our school website and by email for any updates.

Other new arrangements on S1 Discretionary Place:

  1. Only successful applicants will be notified by letter and phone on May 4, 2022, but not reserve and unsuccessful applicants.
  2. The Secondary School Places Allocation results (including results at the Discretionary Places and Central Allocation stages) will be released through primary schools of the applicant on July 26, 2022.

The online interview for S1 Discretionary Places 2022-2023 will be held on 12th March, 2022 (Saturday). All applicants will be granted an interview. The interview details will be emailed to one of the applicant's parents on 4th March, 2022. Applicants who do not receive our email by 5th March, 2022 should contact the school at 2711 7159 as soon as possible.

2022-01-27五十周年校慶晚宴延辦通知

原定於本月十四日舉行的五十周年校慶晚宴,校方已繳付全數酒席費用,但由於政府於一月五日因應最新疫情發展,宣佈收緊社交距離措施,晚宴未能如期舉行,本校實感惋惜。

本校隨即向酒樓查詢有關應變方案,酒樓方面回覆只能順延晚宴日期,而未能安排退款。經洽商後,現暫定晚宴順延至2022年4月8日(星期五)舉行。校方誠然盼望所有已報名校友皆能蒞臨晚宴,同賀金禧校慶。惟亦明白有個別校友可能因為晚宴延辦或未能撥冗出席,如有此情況,本校建議個別校友可考慮邀請其他校友替補出席。校方將安排在晚宴前兩星期(3月25日或之前),聯絡有關報名聯絡人,以確定出席名單。

2021-11-22Application for S.1 Admission 2022-2023 中一入學申請

The application period for S.1 Admission 2022-2023 starts from January 3 to January 17, 2022. S.1 Application Form can be downloaded with the link below or obtained from the school office during office hours (Monday to Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon).

The completed S.1 application form, together with required documents, should be submitted to the school office in person during office hours before deadline. Application will not be processed unless all required documents are submitted.

來年中一入學申請日期為 2022 年 1 月 3 日至 1 月 17 日,申請人可點擊下列連結下載申請表格,或親臨本校校務處辦公時間內索取(星期一至五上午 9 時 30 分至下午 5 時;星 期六上午 9 時 30 分至中午 12 時)。

The Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) teacher manager election was conducted on 18th October, 2021. 44 teachers cast votes(turnout rate=84.6%). With 44 votes of support, Mr Chan Siu Cheung was elected Teacher Manager, and 39 votes of support, Ms Lau Suet Wan, Alternate Teacher Manager. In accordance with the Education Ordinance, the School will nominate to the IMC Mr Chan and Ms Lau as managers of the school in 2021-2022. The IMC shall then apply to the Permanent Secretary of Education Bureau for the registration of the elected teachers as school managers.

 

2021-2022年度法團校董會教員校董選舉於二零二一年十月十八日順利舉行,44位教員投票(投票率=84.6%)。陳兆章先生獲44支持票當選「教員校董」,劉雪韻女士獲39支持票當選「替代教員校董」。按教育條例,本校將向學校法團校董會提名陳先生及劉女士出任本校的校董席位 (2021-2022)。其後,法團校董會將向教育局常任秘書長申請,將其註冊為本校的校董。

The Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) parent manager election was conducted on 16th October, 2021. 94 parents cast votes. Ms Wong Yiu Wai was elected parent manager with 72 votes, and Ms Mak Ka Ka, alternate parent manager with 19 votes. In accordance with the Education Ordinance, the Parents and Teachers Association will nominate to the IMC Ms Wong and Ms Mak as managers of the school in 2021-2022. The IMC shall then apply to the Permanent Secretary of Education Bureau for the registration of the elected parents as school managers.

 

2021-2022年度法團校董會家長校董選舉於二零二一年十月十六日順利舉行,94位家長投票。王堯慧女士以72票當選「家長校董」,麥嘉嘉女士以19票當選「替代家長校董」。按教育條例,本會將向學校法團校董會提名王女士及麥女士出任本校的校董席位 (2021-2022)。其後,法團校董會將向教育局常任秘書長申請,將其註冊為本校的校董。
