S.1 Counselling Programme
09-09-2024To assist S.1 students in adapting to secondary school life as soon as possible, our school's Counselling, Health and Sex Education Committee has organized the "S.1 Counselling Programme" from September 9 to October 24, spanning seven consecutive weeks after school.
This program was primarily arranged by a group of S.2 to S.5 student counsellors, who organized various relaxing and engaging activities to help S.1 students familiarize themselves with our school, learn self-management skills, make friends, practise the spirit of care, and develop a growth mindset.
Through these activities, we were delighted to see S.1 students actively participating and enjoying themselves. We also believe that the program can enhance their social and self-care abilities. The student counsellors, through providing reminders, assistance, and care, have also established a peer support system, strengthening their confidence and leadership skills, and fostering their mutual learning and growth. Ultimately, the beneficiaries themselves are transformed into helpers.
