S.1 Counselling Programme

09-09-2024

To assist S.1 students in adapting to secondary school life as soon as possible, our school's Counselling, Health and Sex Education Committee has organized the "S.1 Counselling Programme" from September 9 to October 24, spanning seven consecutive weeks after school.

This program was primarily arranged by a group of S.2 to S.5 student counsellors, who organized various relaxing and engaging activities to help S.1 students familiarize themselves with our school, learn self-management skills, make friends, practise the spirit of care, and develop a growth mindset.

Through these activities, we were delighted to see S.1 students actively participating and enjoying themselves. We also believe that the program can enhance their social and self-care abilities. The student counsellors, through providing reminders, assistance, and care, have also established a peer support system, strengthening their confidence and leadership skills, and fostering their mutual learning and growth. Ultimately, the beneficiaries themselves are transformed into helpers.
